Ovvoc handles all 25 categories of updates — including breaking API changes, paradigm shifts, and multi-package coordination. We clone your repo, apply code transforms, build, test, and only open a PR when everything passes.

If tests fail after an update, Ovvoc does NOT open a pull request. Instead, you get a detailed failure report showing what was attempted, which tests failed, and why. Your main branch is never affected. This is our zero-breakage guarantee.

We currently support npm/Node.js as our primary ecosystem. This includes all npm packages, package.json configuration, and Node.js-specific tooling. Support for additional ecosystems (Python, Go, Rust) is on our roadmap.

Most updates complete in under 2 minutes. Complex breaking change migrations that require AI-assisted transforms may take 3-5 minutes. You'll get a notification when your PR is ready for review.

Absolutely. Each update job runs in an isolated, ephemeral container that is destroyed immediately after completion. Your code is never stored on our servers. We only request the minimum GitHub permissions needed (repo read + PR write) and use short-lived installation tokens that expire after each job.

Yes. Ovvoc works with both public and private repositories. You install our GitHub App with access only to the repositories you choose, and we use short-lived installation tokens that expire after each job.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

A repository is any GitHub repo you connect to Ovvoc for monitoring. Private and public repos count the same. Archived or disabled repos don't count toward your limit.

Yes. Every plan supports extra repository add-ons at a per-repo monthly or yearly rate. Starter: $49/repo/mo ($490/yr), Growth: $40/repo/mo ($400/yr), Pro: $25/repo/mo ($250/yr), Scale: $20/repo/mo ($200/yr). Annual billing saves 2 months on extra repos too. Extra repos are prorated when added mid-cycle and appear on your next invoice.

We offer a full refund within the first 14 days if Ovvoc isn't the right fit. After that, you can cancel anytime and your plan will remain active until the end of the billing period.
